The winners of the Largs v Arniston match will be at home to Kelty Hearts from Fife in the 5th Round.

Should the Arniston match be a victim of the weather, Thistle have arranged to play Pollok in a league match at Newlandsfield, kick-off 2pm. This is only a provisional fixture at present as it also relies on Pollok's match at Lochee being off and Newlandsfield being playable.

The 4th Round draw for this season's Emirates Scottish Junior Cup sees Thistle at home to Arniston Rangers on Saturday 21 January, ko 1.45pm. Arniston play their home matches at Gorebridge, Midlothian.

Thistle have been drawn at home to either Lesmahagow or Whitehills in the 3rd Round of this season's Emirates Scottish Junior Cup. The tie will take place at Barrfields on Saturday 26 November, with a 1.45pm kick-off.

The Lesmahgow v Whitehills 2nd Round match has been postponed twice at Lesmahagow and they will attempt to play the game at the third attempt this Saturday. Unfortunately for Lesmhagow, because of the SJFA 3 strikes rule, the game has been switched to Whitehills park, which is in Banffshire.

Neil Greenwood has left the club to concentrate more time on his young family and to get regular football at amateur level. Neil has been a terrific servant to the club and we wish him well in life and hope that he will return to Barrfields some day. Local lad Grant Weir has signed up as Neil's replacement as understudy to Stephen Connick.

Both Drew Russell and Graham Black have gone on loan to Dalry Thistle for a month so that they can get much needed match practice, which unfortunately at this time couldn't be guaranteed at Largs.

On Friday, Thistle completed the signing of Euan Lindsay from Hamilton Accies. This follows his successful loan spell at the end of last season and the club welcomes Euan to Barrfields in his permanent move.

Thistle are also delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Joe Connolly from Pollok.

Alan Barnes has now re-signed for this season.

Tam Jamieson has been transferred to Greenock Juniors. The club wish him well in the future.

Thistle have been drawn away to Royal Albert in the 1st Round of this season's West of Scotland Cup. The tie will be played on Saturday 15 October, kick-off 2pm. (Royal Albert play their home matches at Gasworks Park, Larkhall - home of Larkhall Thistle).

We last played Royal Albert in the 1st Round of last season's Emrates Scottish Cup, played at Barrfields.

The start of the new season will soon be upon us. Pre-season training has started and the nucleus of last season's squad have re-signed. Fixtures up to 24 September have now been published and can be found on the fixtures page.

A glamour pre-season game has been organised against last season's East Region Premier League Champions, Bo'ness United, at Barrfields on Saturday 23 July, ko 2pm.
